What Is an AVCP System?
The Construction Products Regulation defines five AVCP systems (1+, 1, 2+, 3, 4), each setting out a different division of responsibility between the manufacturer and third parties — for example, who carries out initial type testing, who audits the factory production control, and whether ongoing surveillance is required. The harmonised standard for your product specifies which system(s) apply; we identify this and explain in plain terms what it means for your business.
